About Veva Medical

What services does Veva Medical offer?

Veva Medical provides telehealth consultations with qualified, AHPRA-registered practitioners for weight management care.

During your consultation, your practitioner will discuss your health, medical history, and weight management goals. They will assess whether the service is appropriate for you and, if suitable, may outline available care options.

These may include general lifestyle guidance and, where clinically appropriate, prescription-based options following full clinical assessment.

How do I get started with Veva Medical?

You can begin by choosing your entry pathway — either a subscription-based option with ongoing support and benefits, or a one-off consultation with a practitioner.

You will then complete a short pre-screening questionnaire to help assess your suitability for medical weight management options.

If appropriate, you will attend a telehealth consultation with a qualified practitioner.

Following your consultation, the practitioner will assess suitability and may outline suitable weight management care options and next steps.

What weight management treatment options might be available?

Treatment options are discussed with an AHPRA-registered practitioner during your consultation and will depend on your individual health, medical history, and suitability.

Where clinically appropriate, your practitioner may recommend a range of medical weight management approaches as part of a structured care plan. This can include lifestyle support and, where clinically appropriate, prescription-based options following assessment.

Due to Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration regulations, specific prescription treatment options are only discussed following consultation with a qualified practitioner.

All treatment decisions are made in accordance with Australian clinical and regulatory requirements.

Am I eligible for medical weight management treatment?

Suitability is assessed individually by a qualified practitioner.

You will first complete a short online pre-screening questionnaire to help guide your entry pathway and support clinical assessment.

You will then attend a telehealth consultation, where your practitioner will review your medical history, current health status, and weight management needs.

Final suitability is determined by your practitioner following clinical assessment, who will advise on appropriate next steps.

What happens during the Initial consultation?

During your telehealth consultation, a qualified practitioner will review your health history, discuss your weight management needs, and answer any questions you may have.

The purpose of this consultation is to assess suitability and determine whether a structured medical weight management care pathway is appropriate.

If suitable, your practitioner may outline available care options and next steps.

How do I attend my appointment?

All consultations are conducted via secure and discreet telehealth (phone), allowing you to access weight management care from anywhere in Australia.

Around the time of your appointment, our practitioner will contact you using a number from a non-caller ID. Please ensure that you don’t block private numbers so you can receive the call, prior to the appointment.

Do I need a referral?
No referral is required to access Veva Medical services.
How are treatments supplied?

If a treatment is prescribed, it will be supplied in accordance with Australian regulations through appropriate pharmacy channels.

Where applicable, delivery may be arranged following clinical approval.

Weight Management Packages

What is included in the Weight Management Packages?

If you choose to proceed, packages may include a combination of services such as consultations, follow-up appointments, a treatment plan (if clinically appropriate), complimentary tools, and general support.

Inclusions vary depending on the options discussed during your consultation and what is determined appropriate by your practitioner.

You are not required to proceed with any package and can choose your preferred approach after consultation.

How does the money-back guarantee work?

The money-back guarantee applies to package-based care only. If you are not satisfied following your initial consultation and support provided, we will refund your consultation and program fees, excluding any medications already dispensed.

It does not apply to one-off consultations.

Full terms and conditions apply.

How much does it cost?

Veva Medical offers optional weight management service packages. Pricing for these may vary depending on the care options discussed during your consultation and, where applicable, any prescribed treatment.

Some packages may be offered from approximately $12 per day. Final costs depend on your individual consultation, clinical assessment and the options you choose to proceed with.

Full pricing details will be provided before you make any decision.

Can I cancel?

Yes. You can choose to discontinue services at any time.

If you decide to stop, our care team can provide guidance on next steps where appropriate.

Individual Consultations

What is included in an individual consultation?

An Individual (one-off) consultation includes a telehealth appointment with a qualified practitioner to discuss your health, medical history, and weight management needs.

During the consultation, your practitioner will complete a clinical assessment and discuss suitable medical weight management options based on your individual circumstances.

No referral is required.

Is an individual consultation right for me?

An Individual (one-off) consultation may be suitable if you would like to speak with a practitioner first to better understand your suitability, circumstances, and explore available weight management care options.

The pre-screening Q&A also helps guide the consultation process and supports your practitioner in preparing for your appointment.

How much does an individual consultation cost?

The fee for an Individual one-off telehealth consultation is $129.

This consultation includes a clinical assessment with a qualified practitioner and discussion of suitable weight management care options.

If further care is appropriate, your practitioner may outline next steps, including optional treatment packages.

Full pricing will always be confirmed prior to proceeding.
